The South Coast of KwaZulu Natal Beaches

KZN Natal Beaches back in History
The KZN South Coast lays claim to a wonderful choice of picturesque beaches. Choose from well developed, people friendly beaches to more isolated, untouched beaches that will suit every possible taste and want.

Add to that the fact that the water is always warm during the 365 days of glorious sub-tropical weather and you know why the South Coast of South Africa is the ideal place to be.

The long stretches of golden sand being lapped by the Indian Ocean will invite you to build a sand castle, take a leisurely stroll, laze on the beach while working on your tan, surf, snorkel, dive, body board, waterboard or to catch the perfect fish for dinner tonight.

What is your favorite KwaZulu Natal Beach?

Is it even possible to pick a favorite when faced with such a wide and diverse choice of beaches?

Why not visit all (or as many as possible) to see if you have a favorite favorite.  Each beach is special and unique in itself and worthy of a visit.  Have a look at the beaches listed below to see which one you would want to spend a day at.

What did we look at in our reviews of the KwaZulu Natal beaches?

We looked at the availability of parking, the ease of access, the facilities, the beach itself, tidal pool/regular pool and the sights of each beach.

Something you should take note of is although toilet facilities are available at most of the beaches, toilet paper is not.  Bring your own!
